Lebanese wedding in Castell de Sant Marçal (Barcelona)

This is probably the most important wedding of my career as a wedding photographer, as it's my first, and I was the second photographer. I think it's very special because it's the first time I've seen moments like these.

Venue

Wafa & Mohammad

This moment was very special, especially because for me, as well as for the groom, it was the first time I'd experienced it, the moment he saw the bride in her wedding dress for the first time. I admit my heart started racing when I saw the scene. It was a first for all of us, as I had never witnessed that moment before, and a feeling of excitement filled me as I watched it.

The groom's nerves rubbed off on me; he fluctuated between a curious, surprised smile and a nervous seriousness in a matter of seconds.

Mohammad stands still again while we take the photos and gets excited again to see Wafa dressed as a bride.

Smokings & smoke

The cocktail party scene was highlighted by cigars and tuxedos. Between the smoke and black bow tie, it felt like a Francis Ford Coppola film; editing this section in black and white was practically mandatory.

Groom boys

I've never seen so much energy and joy in a group of friends sharing the excitement of celebrating the union between two people. The adrenaline rush and good vibes were worthy of a soccer team winning the World Cup. Laughing, they moved from one end of the venue to where the rest of the guests were waiting, singing in unison.

Wafa entrance

After a moment of euphoria and shouts of joy, a moment of calm and serenity arrives, awaiting the entrance of Wafa, who is accompanied by her father to Mohammad.

Atipical ceremony

The ceremony, far from what we're used to at many weddings, consists of dancing and celebrating for just over an hour with all the guests. I remember looking at the wedding planner's schedule and reading, skeptical, about the hour-long dance. At this wedding, I lost around 2 kg, as it was the middle of June and the temperature was around 35 degrees at 7 p.m.

Cakes & party

The Wedding Reception is a grand celebration where family and friends gather to celebrate the couple’s union. It involves elaborate decorations, music, dancing, and a sumptuous feast. The reception is a time of communal joy, where guests share in the couple’s happiness and offer their blessings.
